At Chanel's The Little Black Jacket exhibition, Karl Lagerfeld and
Carine Roitfeld shows us why the LBJ is a staple in every woman or man's
wardrobe. It was really interesting to see Carine's interpretation and
styling of the simple tweed jacket -- there are simply no
rules! Each shot captures the personality and character of the
model/actress/designer wearing the LBJ in novel ways. My favorite picture
is of Virginie Viard, Creative Director of Chanel, in her custom pins &
spikes little black jacket.
Now I feel like I need to add the jacket to my collection of timeless pieces.
